Ellen Foster

Staff Counselor/Intake Coordinator

Ellen Foster first moved to Charlottesville in 2005 as part of the Trinity Fellows Program. She received her bachelor's degree in Social Work at James Madison University in 2003. Ellen received her master of arts in Counseling at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. During her time in seminary, Ellen participated in an internship at Oviedo Counseling Clinic where she counseled individuals and couples as well as led various therapeutic groups. Ellen particularly enjoys working with clients facing such issues as anxiety/depression, body image, life transitions, trauma, and sexuality. In her spare time, she enjoys taking advantage of the outdoor activities of Charlottesville including hiking and running, and also enjoys cooking with friends.
