Amie Elmore

Amie received her Master's in Counseling from George Fox University, Portland, in 2005. For several years she worked with at-risk and high need children and families in home, community, and school settings, with specialty in developmental delay. She joined New City in 2019 where she now practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Areas of interest and training include trauma care, internal family systems, attachment theory, faith-story work, and embodied healing. Amie and her family live in Charlottesville where she enjoys running in the neighborhood, walking and coffee-ing with friends, and cooking, when accompanied by a favorite playlist.
